Sun Exchange Crowdsale #12 Opens July 9th!

We’re solar powering a supermarket in South Africa’s most pristine wilderness region.

This project, for Spar Hoedspruit, is setting a standard for retailers to use clean energy in a beautiful area where the natural environment is being threatened by a reliance on coal-fuelled power plants. The project will reduce Spar’s operating costs – increasing job security and passing on savings to consumers.

Solar cells will be available to purchase from Tuesday July 9th at 10AM SAST (8AM GMT). Mark this crowdsale in your calendars and get ready to monetize sunshine! ☀️

Visit the project page for more information:

Supermarkets demand power all year round. Escalating energy costs in South Africa can mean higher costs for daily groceries.

Spar Hoedspruit is going solar to lower their energy bill, cut their emissions and demonstrate sustainability to shoppers and staff alike.

The supermarket provides vital services to the local community and to the hundreds of thousands of tourists passing through the town whilst exploring the natural wonders of the surrounding national parks.

Purchase and lease solar cells to this project to earn income powered by the sun for the next 20 years. At your option you may choose to donate any portion of your solar cell rental income to The Endangered Wildlife Trust, who have worked tirelessly over the past 45 years to save wildlife and habitats, with their vision being a world in which both humans and wildlife prosper in harmony with nature.
